2. WHY DOES CENTRAL GMO PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

    To enable our operations and provide our products and services to you, some of your personal data may be collected and used as described in this Policy and according to the information provided to you during your interactions with Central GMO.


    We are committed to your privacy and security and invest our resources in developing technological solutions capable of not only delivering products and services but also safeguarding your privacy and protecting your personal data when you interact with Central GMO.

    During the account creation step on the Central GMO website, Central GMO requests the name, email, date of birth, and CPF of the account holder for you to complete your registration by creating your login and password.

    Although it does not prevent access to the website, the user will not be able to use certain Central GMO website services that require email validation and CPF provision.


    For processing order payments, the data collected will depend on the chosen payment method and may include the name, email, date of birth, CPF, phone number, and complete address of the account/user responsible. If this data differs from the buyer’s, we will also collect the same data for the buyer.


3.2. From public or publicly accessible sources:

    Central GMO may use data for analyses and measures to prevent money laundering, antifraud mechanisms, as well as for compliance with regulatory obligations related to the topic.


3.3. At the support center:

    To assist you with anything necessary, our support center must have access to the information required to analyze and resolve your case.


    The collection of this data occurs so that only the essential information for analysis is requested to assist you through our channels (email and WhatsApp). As explained, the data collected varies from case to case, but in general, the data requested in our support processes are: name, email, date of birth, CPF.


3.4. For analyses and prevention measures:

    For analyses and prevention measures against fraudulent activities, Central GMO may collect the IP address of users from its platforms.


3.5. Through the use of cookies:

    When the user visits our website, our portal asks their browser to store a small piece of data (a text file) called a cookie on their device.

    Central GMO does not use third-party cookies.

    Central GMO only uses essential cookies for the functioning of its system, such as login/authentication cookies and cookies for identifying the language chosen by the user. Therefore, it is not possible to block the cookies used by Central GMO.

4. WITH WHOM DOES CENTRAL GMO SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Some of them may process part of the personal data we collect, such as payment method partners/providers and integrators (Mercado Pago), who provide fraud prevention or credit analysis services.

    No! Central GMO does not transfer any data outside the country. Only suppliers and service providers, such as payment method integrators (Mercado Pago), receive the necessary data for their operation.


    Central GMO and its partners adopt all necessary technical and organizational security measures and protections to ensure an adequate level of Data protection.

Moreover, for the use of certain services of Central GMO (account creation), we will request the validation of the user's email address.     You may also request Central GMO to anonymize the data without the possibility of reversal. Anonymization is the process through which data loses the ability to be directly or indirectly associated with an individual. Anonymization of the data will not be possible when Central GMO needs to retain your data in the following situations: (i) for the period necessary for judicial, administrative, and arbitration proceedings, (ii) to comply with a legal and/or regulatory obligation, (iii) for the regular exercise of rights.

    For your security and privacy, whenever you submit a request to exercise your rights, Central GMO may request some information and/or documents to verify the identity of the data subject.


    Some requests may not be answered immediately, but Central GMO is committed to responding to all requests within 15 days, as provided in the General Data Protection Law (LGPD).


8. HOW DO WE HANDLE MINOR'S DATA?

    We do not allow children under the age of 13 (thirteen) to create an account with Central GMO.


    We also do not allow minors under the age of 18 to make purchases on our shopping platform. In these cases, minors must be represented or assisted by their legal guardians, as per the law.


    Central GMO does not intentionally collect personal data from children under 13 (thirteen) years old. If Central GMO becomes aware that it has collected information from an individual under 13 (thirteen) years of age without the proper representation of their legal guardians, we will cancel the created account and anonymize the associated personal data.
